As the trial of Officer William Porter continued around the corner, city and community leaders held a press conference calling for "unity," no matter what the verdict is.
Porter is the first of six officers to stand trial in the death of Freddie Gray, who died as a result of injuries sustained while in police custody. The defense started presenting their case Wednesday. Porter faces charges of involuntary manslaughter, reckless endangerment and misconduct in office. The press conference is clearly aimed at stemming a repeat of late April's unrest that followed Gray's death.
"We need everyone to respect the jury's decision," Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake said. "Whatever the jury decides we must respect the process."

If the decision does not suit her she will not accept.
Just like her father in Congress, commenting on the matter without any facts. Trying to persuade the jury in a subtle way.
Lol they know he is not guilty, lock and load.
they will riot either way. It is what they do .
Don't worry they won't steal work shoes.
Let them riot. They are too stupid to figure out that Baltimore city never recovered from the 60's riots and the white flight that occurred shortly after. The city has continued to go downhill ever since. If they are so stupid as to not know that there isn't one city that's ever recovered after riots then they deserve to wallow in the crime and poverty of their own making. There is no help for these low IQ types.
Time to clean thug zones.
SO NOT GUILTY AS USUAL RIGHT???
SINCE you have to cool the reactions???
