With 59 Murders, September Was Chicago's Deadliest in a decade

Chicago reached 59 murders and 362 gunshot victims in September, marking the Democratic-run city’s deadliest month since 2002, according to analysis by The Chicago Tribune.

The last month of summer featured more homicides than any other month this year, and more than any summer month since the prior decade.

According to the Tribune, September ended with two consecutive weekends during which more than 50 people were shot. There more than 40 shootings each weekend in August.

September ended on a deadly note not just for the city in general, but for one South Side family in particular.

Safari hunting is alive and well in America but everyone is scared to death to admit it.The thrill of killing a human being with the guarantee of not getting caught appeals to a select and very rich few. What better place to conduct business than where the typical homicide #s are so high that the app 25% which are safari kills simply blend in with the rest.

9:40 - I didn't know 'open-season' was declared. We could easily reduce the welfare rolls and food-stamp rolls - thereby cutting our expenditures to a more reasonable / maintainable level.

I'm all for it!

Obamas hometown. They probably all remind him of the son he never had.
I do mean the killers of course.

Not a single reporter - not one -- has, or will ever, ask hillary or obama that if their vaunted guns laws (Chicago is one of the strictest in the nation) are so good, why are there so many murders and shootings?
AND, if THOSE laws are so ineffective and worthless, please tell us why you think your NEW ideas will be any more effective?
They can't answer that any more than they can answer a myriad of other questions concerning their failures over the last 7 years.
Keep cheering.
