Marijuana, guns seized in Eastern Shore drug bust

STEVENSVILLE, Md. —Authorities on the Eastern Shore seized drugs and 17 guns, including an AK-47.

The Queen Anne's County Drug Task Force announced Tuesday that Vincent Michael Arcand, 33, and Samantha Carol Sittle, 32, both of Stevensville, were arrested on Oct. 6 on various drug charges.

Authorities executed a search-and-seizure warrant at a house in the 600 block of Old Love Point Road in Stevensville near Kent Island High School, where they said they found 22 suspected marijuana plants, 1,893 grams of processed marijuana, 11.3 grams of hashish and $3,591 in cash.

big whoop. kops stole more plants, peoples money and property. Meanwhile, more deaths and crime is associated with 'legal' drugs, not to mention the millionaires being made by poisoning the people with chemicals. Yeah, I feel so much safer now that these vicious plants are off the street. lol

I thought marijuana was legal in MD now, I guess because MD wasn't getting any taxes off it

No marijuana is not legal in Maryland. They decriminalized it. That is different than it being legal.

So I'm taking in that the guns were all legally owned and the only problem was the weed. Smdh. Meanwhile there are ads in the classifieds for weed growers for the medical facilities. Now Worcester County sheriff's !!!!!! Listen up. This is a big arsenal of weapons siezed. Don't pee on our heads and tell us its raining with your lame press releases.
