Man suing over injury from 16-pound pine cone in San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO – A Navy veteran is suing after what his lawyer describes as a 16-pound pine cone fell and crushed his skull in San Francisco.

The San Francisco Chronicle reports that Sean Mace is suing the U.S. government, the National Park Service, the Department of the Interior and San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park for $5 million.

Setting up a lounge chair directly under a 16 lb. pine cone hanging above in a tree shows a little brain damage was present BEFORE the seed dropped! Pre-existing condition... not covered!

That pine cone had a boulder in it. Who is he suing, the tree?

The other story here is.., there's actually an attorney (Scott Johnson) who's taking the case.
