D.C. bid on the 2024 Olympics in an effort that would have involved Baltimore. But the USOC selected Boston over D.C. and other bidders, including Los Angeles — a choice it might regret.
D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser’s Chief of Staff John Falcicchio said in a statement it is still too early to tell what might happen next.
"We were surprised that Boston's bid deflated,” Falcicchio said. “It is too early to say what is next but we remain proud of the bid put forth by DC 2024."

The Olympics is a huge money loser everywhere it lands. Huge complexes get built and have no good permanent uses after the event. Temporary jobs abound before and during but completely disappear afterwards. The dollar toll on host cities for infrastructure changes and huge security coverage is enormous. And where does the money come from? Not enough comes from other sources than taxpayers.
Just think if we really could get rid of the scum lowlife in our cites and around the country, what a beautiful thought.
DC maybe but Baltimore? Good luck with that one.
Got to hand it to the mayor of Boston. Finally a politician that said no thanks I'm not going to waste the taxpayers money. Hopefully Governor Hogan will say no way also.

Why would anyone want to go to Baltimore or DC to begin with? These places only have a chance if visitors and participants want to get murdered then by going to these two cities they stand a much better chance of having their lives cut short.

I think the televised riots, looting, arson and violence will forever taint the affected cities' chances of ever hosting the Olympics. That is the image projected of "Americans", and it is shameful. Who wants to travel to a third world country and risk coming in contact with "Americans"?
I wouldn't even consider making plans to visit a city with such a recent video testimonial to their savagery and aggression.
You know they would round up all the trash and temporarily relocate them to other towns like da'bury. Problem is some of the trash will stay.
