I thought all intersections were moving to the overhead cam prompters. Why go back to Old School?

5:00, re-read the article instead of just skimming through.

How could they not know? The contractor has been there for at least three days! What they did not bother to tell anyone was that it was a one lane road today! Between the road work and the accident on the bridge nearest OC, I spent over and hour and a half on that road! I don't believe for one minute the SHA did not know it was going to be one lane today!

"work involves replacing traffic detection loops that were removed during the spring repaving project. "

To 5:46, Please "re-read" YOURSELF!

Pavement loops in the asphalt is now being replaced by ill- placed overhead motion detector/ presence detectors for the last few years, or haven't you noticed?

Waiting on pavement loop wiring delaying paving is past technology.

This is 2015. Get used to it.

I was caught up in the traffic jam due to this today! Who's the f'ing idiot that allowed this construction to happen in July on Rt. 90? What an idiot to do something that could be done in the middle of the night to avoid a 5+ mile back up! This moron should run for a political office....he's or she's that darn stupid!
