Louisiana town struggles to make sense of movie-theater shooting

LAFAYETTE, La. — For three straight nights, Jonah Slason had gone to sleep with a Bible in his bed.

Ever since a man sitting just rows behind him unleashed a barrage of gunfire on him and others at the Grand 16 Theater, Slason, 25, has found himself riffling through his dark-burgundy Bible late into the night looking for answers.

While he hasn’t found answers for why John Russell Houser opened fire that night — killing two and injuring nine others, Slason, a school choir teacher, said he has found love. “I’ve been hearing from everyone I ever knew, even back to high school, reaching out,” he said. “I’ve seen how this whole community has come together and just supported each other.”

There are no answers in the bible.

The liberals and Obama administration can't believe they can't burn down another city. The victims were white so white lives don't matter to him.

we don't need total gun bans. just white Christians can't have 'em. never trusted them anyways.

I go to a lot of movies because nothing is better than seeing a movie on a big screen.Every since the Aurora shooting occurred movie patrons have noticeably changed their seating location habits.Think about it; Holmes came in through the exit door closest to the screen.Houser sat in the very back row until his rampage began. Now the seating dilemna has become even worse because there IS no safe place to sit.
