I'd rather sweat than freeze any day! Summer is uncomfortable, but winter is HELL!
It's a whole lot easier to get warm than it is to stay cool.

You don't need to shovel hot.
I'll take the heat, plus cooling bill is much more economical than the heating bill

GIVE ME THE SNOW!! I've got a snow blower and I can put on a coat. You cannot do anything about the heat but sweat. Heat kills more people than the cold.
Winter is way to long here lately summer is June to Sept.
Thinking about this has really helped me this summer.
I remember when we went weeks without breaking 32. (midwest)
The heat won't last that long.. 6-8 more weeks.
Learn to enjoy it while you have it.
My heat is gas my AC is electric
I will take the cold any day
It's easy to put on layers... you can only take off so much (and most people look better under layers).
I do not like extreme heat with humidity and I am not a fan of snow up to my butt either! Give me 70 to 75 degrees with no humidity and I am a happy camper.
