On the first day we saw the North Charleston, South Carolina, shooting video of Walter Scott by Officer Michael Slager we were as shocked as everyone. However, as our research now indicates, there is much more to the story.
What we cover here in the latest update might just change the entire way the story continues…
Day #1 April 7th – The shock of the video
Day #2 April 8th – The community reaction/response
Day #3 April 9th – The video witness comes forth – The Dash Cam Video released
Day #4 April 10th – Facts Being Assembled – Ryan Julison Discovered – The Passenger researched and Responding Officers statements reviewed
Day #5 April 11th – Research reveals media manipulating narrative – Uncomfortable evidence kept from public.

If that's what happened, then why tamper with evidence? He's incompetent.
so that's what the kops call it when another kop commits felony murder, uncomfortable evidence?
shot by his own taser, not knowing if that will continue, not sure if shooting 8 times is reasonable, but who is to say how the cop felt at that point,
how about this if you are stopped by the police do not run and do not take their taser and shoot them with it
People do impulsive, stupid, and irrational things when under stress or in fearful situations.
Some people do them on a regular basis.
How about THIS?
Stop thinking that every American citizen is a potential terrorist that must be shot (in the back? just as good....) at the first tingle of fear. Or "failure to comply".
Those with great responsibility also have great ACCOUNTABILITY.
Police are given the authority to kill, just not wantonly and in anger.
That cop decided that the charges, the trial, the jury, etc., were all just some "details" he could overlook.
He appointed HIMSELF as judge and executioner. And I'm pretty sure that's NOT in the Constitution.
Probably in the Police Handbook, though, because there's the Law, then there is the law for THEM.
With wildly different outcomes.
Keep cheering!
no I don't think it is in the police handbook, because most cops I know just aren't that way, not really defending the cop just saying this puts slightly different perspective on the situation. it does go a little farther than failure to comply, he ran and took the cops taser and shot him with it
As the weekly videos attest, there are a lot of "Dirty Harrys" out there, just waiting to shoot and kill you for failing to obey their commands, for any crime (or no crime) perceived, or otherwise. They impose the death penalty for nothing other than disobeying them.
The last time I checked, disobeying a cop is not a capital offense. But the "Dirty Harrys" will make it one.
If the primary job of the police was not revenue generators or taxmen this and most interactions like this would not happen.
Take away their guns or their ticket books. I don't really care which it is.
even if true, that still is no reason to shoot 8 times in the back. the kop didn't even attempt to chase Scott after he broke free. and he missed 4 of those shots. at that range? glad no one else was hit by those missed shots.
