We now live in a world where the national news is focused on one mother chastising and punishing her son for breaking the law; where the Big Story is about a handful of citizens with brroms sweeping and cleaning up their neighborhood.
We now live in a world where basically "doing the right thing" makes headline national news.
And now, like some banana republic soccer match, our National Pastime (for the first time in history) is played without spectators being allowed in the stadium.
Check, please. I'm outta here.
