In 2002, Benjamin Netanyahu already harbored some extremely strong convictions on how to deal with both Iran and Iraq. Back then, his opinions on how to handle the particular challenges each presented were quite divergent. On the one hand, he suggested beaming “reruns of Melrose Place” into Tehran, as a way of inspiring a popular uprising. In contrast, he suggested such an approach could never work in Iraq, and instead advocated for his preferred solution: violence.
Naturally, he believed that a violent overthrow of Saddam Hussein would be a great thing. Specifically predicting that:
If you take out Saddam’s Regime, I guarantee you, that it will have enormous positive reverberations on the region.

did he mention leaving shortly after taking out saddam?
I stand with Israel! What's the point of this anti Israel post?
Well, he certainly nailed that one.
I think Netanyahu was proven right! Libya giving up weapons of mass destruction and free elections in Irag were just two of many positive developments from the Irag War. We have certainly mismanaged our foreign policy since with disastrous results but let's not forget how bad Saddam was. He had a nuclear program that was taken out by Israel in the 80's, he used WMD on his own people and at least two other countries, he attacked one of our ships unprovoked, he paid the families of suicide bombers and he invaded two neighboring countries. There is a long list of bad things that were eliminating by hanging him, because our leadership and the UN has blown the many opportunities it offered does not mean Netanyahu was wrong.
keep agreeing with that Yahu, I don't know what you people are looking at. Their hasn't been any peace in that part of the since Saddam Hussein and Khadafy were taken out in fact their Countries were better off. If you want to see peace in the middle east get rid of the Zionist.
