ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — The Maryland Senate has voted unanimously to require correctional officer applicants to pass a polygraph exam.
The Senate voted 47-0 for the bill Thursday. It now goes to the House of Delegates.
Under current law, the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services is authorized to require correctional officer applicants to pass a polygraph before being hired. The measure goes a step further by making the exams a requirement.

I don't suppose they're going to go back and polygraph the ones they've already hired. No, that would be "too expensive" or "pointless".
If they do, they're going to lose a lot of COs.
They should do the same with the senators.
They should do the same with those on "disability."
The Senate is BIG on OTHER people taking a polygraph.
If "we, the people" made THEM take one, 90% of them would go to prison. The other 10% would resign.
To AVOID prison.

I'm on disability and I would have no problem taking one. Granted, there are some out there who game the system, but most of us are legit. You can't always 'see' a disability.
But I'm sure you already know that don't you 'doctor'?
I bet your next complaint is about all the 'minorities' getting welfare and food stamps right?
Even though whites make up the majority of users of BOTH.
What other misconception would you like to discuss?
