House Democrats Express Concerns About Outdated Voting Machines

WASHINGTON–Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Baltimore, joined other House Democrats in a letter Wednesday urging the Government Accountability Office (GAO) to review the status of voting machine technology and the potential problems posed by using outdated equipment.

Cummings, Ranking Member of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, signed the letter along with Reps. Joaquín Castro, D-Texas, Danny Davis,D-Ill., Tammy Duckworth, D-Ill., Marcia Fudge, D-Ohio, Eddie Bernice Johnson, D-Texas, Hank Johnson D-Ga., Robin Kelly, D-Ill. and John Lewis, D-Ga..

The members asked the GAO to review challenges state and local jurisdictions face with aging voting systems, the impact of federal standards on developing new voting systems and benefits and challenges of policies in place regarding voter turnout.

high tech machines are easier to manipulate and they need all the voter fraud they can get to continue ruining America into Socialism / Islamic/ Shari law.

We need to get back to actual paper ballots in every election, ones that are not read by computers or scanners, but by people.

Look at all the "D"'s hollering that pen and paper ballots may "malfunction"!

Unfortunately, they will have a ton of followers that will actually believe them...

When I vote, I want a receipt showing who I voted for, not just a little sticker for my lapel.

Why wasn't he so concerned about it before? Could he actually be afraid that more republicans will win in future elections??? I think that is more his worry then whether or not they work properly.
I don't believe much that comes out of his mouth.

Our votes do not count. The winner is bought and paid for long before election day.
When is the last time you gave a few million to a candidate?
Its all a backroom deal, makes it look good on tv and reporting but i do not trust any of it.
