Deputies are responding to numerous accidents on county roads at this time. Please exercise caution tonight if you are travelling. With the Temps expected to drop to single digits we ask that you travel prepared. Cell phone charged, blanket, and most importantly let someone know your travel plans and time frame. We are encountering empty vehicles off the roadway that we must check. SHA and County Roads have attempted to clear what can be cleared. Remember most of the treatments they use are ineffective in these temps. Weather reports suggest Sunday will bring warmer temps and rain. Please be patient and safe if you must go out tonight. The Board of Education has not made a decision yet on schools. As always be safe in your travels.
