An untrained person trying to help a drowning person is very apt to be drowned themselves. The drowning person most times panics and holds down under the person trying to rescue them, so yes, just call 911.
So, 10:35, the only reason to call 911 is to report to them where they will be able to find my body.
Thank you for your compassion.
There are many good people who are good swimmers and can effect a rescue. And I promise not to push them under.
So, don't bother with the phone call, folks; they'll find me sooner or later. I won't be needing my body after I've drowned, so no big rush to find it.
