BREAKING NEWS: GOP aide resigns over comments about Obama daughters
Republican congressional aide Elizabeth Lauten has resigned after making controversial comments on Facebook about President Obama's daughters, Sasha and Malia.
The only thing the one daughter was missing was a stripper pole. Both had on skirts that were too short. We should be teaching our daughters that showing your a$$ isn't what it's all about. Too bad the aid got heat for doing what the parents of these children need to be doing and that's teaching them appropriate dress and behavior for the situation.
What they do in their private lives may be off limits but this was a public function and the aid was in her right to call them out on not only their inappropriate dress but their actions. Every presidents child that I remember behaved and dressed appropriately for official occasions including the very young Caroline and John Kennedy at their father's funeral. Overseas the young prince's at the service for their mother and before in public appearances showed a level of dignity and grace and class that these 2 need to take a lesson off of. The criticism will fall on deaf ears because class is mostly an inherent trait and the old adage applies-you can take them out of the ghetto but it's nearly impossible to take it out of them and we see that on a regular basis with the parents of these 2.
Yes, class is an inherent trait, and one needs to look no further than the mother, and they can see it is quite lacking here. I once observed the mother in a video, dining at a state dinner. She exhibited the most barbaric actions ever, head lowered, nearly touching the plate of food, holding the plate of food with one hand while hurriedly shoveling the morsels in her mouth with the other, as if someone was going to steal it from her.
I disagree 5:53. They were at an official function in view of an invited media, so they were most certainly not off limits. The world was shown their crude behavior and vulgar dress and it was inappropriate and needs to be called out. It makes the US out to be classless.

It's unfortunate that her accurate comments were not politically correct!
Leave it the the entitle-ists to whine!

You don't stand at an official ceremony no matter what it is, with your butt practically showing. It's vulgar and crude.
They are just acting like mama!

It was utterly astounding to view.
She only said the truth and any more you are not supposed to tell the truth - how pitiful. They are so classless, just like their mama.
gots to go type of situation
Sorry, I'm a staunch republican and can't stand king Obama, but presidential kids are off limits in my book.

She lasted longer than I would have. Who can deal with the three stooges and Ebenezer Scrooge.
6:12 All you have to do is look at the comments here to know how classless the US is.
