Long Neck, DE - The Delaware State Police is asking the public’s assistance in attempting to locate a female that is wanted for a home invasion incident that occurred in Rehoboth Shores.
The incident took place on Friday July 11, 2014 around 10:00 p.m. when Erica Jones, 23 of Lincoln, and Niesha N. Bland, 20 of Laurel, broke into a residence in the 26000 block of Portside Drive brandishing a large pipe. Once inside, a 32 year old female resident, who is also an acquaintance of the two suspects, was tackled by the two and then assaulted. Prior to the two female suspects leaving the residence, Niesha slapped the two year old son of the female victim across the face. Once outside, the two used the pipe to smash the front windshield of a 56 year old males automobile and then fled the area.
Niesha Bland was arrested on Saturday July 12, 2014 and charged with Home Invasion, Conspiracy 1st, and two counts of Offensive Touching. She was released on a $28,000.00 unsecured bond.
Erica Jones (Photo attached) is wanted on charges of Home Invasion, Conspiracy 1st, Offensive Touching, and Criminal Mischief. She is also wanted out of Sussex County Court of Common Pleas on two capiases.

Why in the name of good sense do the judicial types release these criminals on 'unsecured' bond? Can someone please help me understand that?
