Federal and state officials say Maryland added 7,700 jobs in June.
All but 600 of those jobs were in the private secotr.
The U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics, along with the Maryland Department of Labor also report the unemployment rate in June rose to two-tenths-of-a-percent from May to 5.8%.
The largest growth of private sector jobs came in health care, leisure and hospitality and retail trade jobs.

State jobs are required to pay union dues. More money for O'Malley.
State jobs require no profit margin.That causes a lack of efficiency among workers.Continuosly dumping money into an agency is no incentive for employees to be productive.
