Location:   Route 90 @ St. Martins Neck Road, Berlin, Worcester County Maryland     

Incident:     Motor Vehicle Collision; DUI   
               
Narrative:   Ron Alan Wesche (W/M, 47 yrs/age of Bishopville, MD) was traveling eastbound along MD Route 90 near St Martins Neck Road operating a 1997 Dodge truck.  Wesche failed to maintain control of the vehicle and caused it to crash into a 2013 Chevy..  Wesche refused medical treatment, but it was determined through the investigation he may have been impaired.  Wesche unsatisfactorily performed standardized field sobriety testing and was subsequently arrested.  Wesche was transported to the MSP Berlin Barrack, but he refused to submit to a breath test.  He was subsequently charged with the collision event and the DUI.

I am glad that driver was not on Route 50 East Bound...where the troopers dressed like BOZO the CLOWN jump out in front of 55 mile and hour traffic waiving at you!
