I hope everyone is safe including pets. I hope they have good insurance. Surprised that five fire companies are responding... Ocean Pines? Are they not a municipality? Or am I incorrect? Either way, that's awesome they would help.

And if there had been a sprinkler law for new houses when this one was built the fire would have been suppressed before the fire department arrived.

Yeah, laws are the solution! Keep up the good work 10:21 P.M.

It is so sad for the animals that died in this fire, the news reported that all the animals got out safe but that is not true, I know the family very well, they have lost help and are going to need help. I thank god that they were not at home and they are safe, sorry for the animals .

I saw you out there trying to help remove the boats right next to the house. Good job Joe. Prayers to the family.
