Town of Ocean City
We have received several calls regarding a "loud noise" heard in the Ocean City area. The reported noise appears to be a "sonic boom." We will continue to monitor reports and update citizens if our initial information changes. — with Chris Parypa Photography.

From my experience with those, it was most assuredly a sonic boom. Today's was pretty loud, Putting this one in perspective to the previous one that caused the many phone calls, this was half a loud and rumbly as the huge one a few months ago. BTW: They ALWAYS seem to happen on a Monday or Tuesday between Noon and 3PM.
Heard and also felt it in Bishopville as well.
Nothing to hear or see…keep moving along people.

It is the same thing it has always been but happens less frequently nowadays…Navy testing jets/aircraft out of PAX River.
