Foreclosure Rates Up in MD

Foreclosure rates are down more than 20-percent across the country, but they are up here in Maryland.

A report released by RealtyTrac, an online real estate listing company for foreclosures, said that Maryland has the third highest foreclosure rate in the country.

"In the first quarter, we saw foreclosure rates increase and we've been seeing this for almost the last two years," said Darren Bloomquist, RealtyTrac's vice-president.
