could someone please explain who Trey is and why he can't walk?
Trey is a 27 y/o who was in a bad wreck after the truck he was in hit a patch of black ice after the storm we had a few weeks back.
After extensive surgery the Drs prognosis was that he will be paralysed from the neck down.
He was in a truck accident, and thrown from the vehicle, he was not wearing a seatbelt.
Best wishes to the young man. A good friend of mine suffered a similar injury last year and it is difficult for everyone involved..the person, family and friends. Luckily one of the top paralysis treatment centers in the country is located in Baltimore. I hope they look into the Kennedy Krieger Institute. They offer the best hope of ever regaining function for spinal cord injuries.
I love it when our community gets together to help someone in need.This young man already has extreme expenses and will certainly incur much more.I'll pitch in and buy some tickets. Trey will walk.
Trey is my nephew n I live in VA. I was raised in Salisbury n left in 1973 for my husbands job. I'd like to say I am overwhelmed at all the support n fund raisers being held to help Trey! All the prayers, posts n visits! Thank you everyone. I'm very proud of my hometown pulling together for him! He will walk again! Thank you Salisbury n surrounding areas!
