Bear- Several students suffered minor injuries today in a crash in front of Wilber Elementary School.
The incident happened at 8:19 a.m. as a school bus was stopped behind several vehicles at a red light in the left-turn lane of southbound Wrangle Hill Road at the entrance to Wilber Elementary School. Seconds after the traffic light turned green, and before the bus began to move, it was struck in the rear by a 2013 Kia Soul.
Fourteen students from the bus as well as the bus driver, Nichole Lambert, 26, of New Castle, were transported to Christiana Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The driver of the Kia, Madison Brooks, 23, of Newark, was not injured. She was issued a traffic summons for inattentive driving and failing to have insurance identification in possession.

Now I'll explain this to you since you need to go back to school and take a reading comprehension course. In a nut shell it says a few seconds after the light turned green the stopped school bus (not moving, sitting still etc.) was hit in the rear end. (the back end of the bus) Which means it was not his fault.(He did not do it)
The driver of the Kia, Madison Brooks, 23, of Newark, was not injured. She was issued a traffic summons for inattentive driving and failing to have insurance identification in possession. This last statement above means the women who was driving the vehicle who hit the bus was charged.
Now please tell me what the bus being hit and the drive not charged with anything have to do with The bus drivers should have annual review in driving. Please tell me why so that I may understand. Thank you so very much Sheamus
