The amended draft calendar was approved today at the Board Meeting. Everyone had their chance to chime in and if you didn't speak up, shame on you.

Many changes from the original so I applaud the BOE for at least listening to the complaints. Can't make everyone happy.

Parents, make plans now for any days off.

The main and only issue was Professional Days being on Wednesdays instead of Fridays or Mondays. Thank you Mr. Dodd and other board members for listening to the parents.

Why have the professional days anyway. Now that they back up yo weekends or holidays, staff will take off. They say they will work internally to make sure teachers attend. Not going to happen. As long as teachers request off 48 hrs in advance, it can't be denied.
