Cool, a Pro Qa at 9:46:37. That is way before a regular lunch time! Could be a breakfast call though

A small house fire. Big Deal! Doesn't mean that the city tax payers need 90 paid firemen waiting for that one little house fire that could easily be extinguished by the volunteers. Great Job Station 2 vollies.

That's amazing 1:55-I didn't realize anyone read these posts.

GLAD TO BE PROTECTED BY TRUE VOLUNTEER FIREMEN AND FIREWOMEN said...

Once again the members of the Salsibury VOLUNTEER Fire Department Station 2 performed heroically and valiantly in keeping one of the few true fire calls from becoming an all out conflagration in our fair city. May God bless all of our dedicated and heroic "career volunteers".

That is funny they had not even made entry by the time the duty crew got there. They only got out so early because of the station two live ins.

Well Joe. Someone had a fire to justify all those firemen you ridicule daily. The house was severely damaged and they lost all their belongings. Does that make you happy and earn the desired number of hits to bolster your ego ?

anonymous 7:10, aka, FIREFIGHTER, YOU are one sick puppy. I hope Hoppes finds out exactly who you are and fires you on the spot.

The above comments are obviously from an individual lacking in a quality education. Career Volunteer is a conflict in terms that demonstrates a clear lack of self worth. Puzzling how one could conceive that a 1500 sq. ft. rancher could expand to a conflagration. Even more ignorant is the claim that one station claims to have conquered this massive blaze by themselves with no other support. Pretty amazing stuff for those dumb enough to believe it. Those who were there know the truth.

I was looking for information about the fire on Louise Ave on Dec 8 and found all these comments. I am not sure I undersand what they all mean but I wanted to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to all the firefighters who came out to fight that blaze. My daughter lived in that house and even though she lost her home (and her job at the mall since she had to move back home to Baltimore with her parenty as she had no where else to go in Salisbury), many of her belongings were saved. Smoke detectors were also working thank God and all 3 girls got out unhurt. As the mom of a young women trying to start out on her own for the first time this was a tragic event but the prompt response of the firefighters kept it from being worse. Thank you all!
