For those motorists that have been traveling around the Salisbury Rt. 13 By - Pass - you may have noticed the new State signage that displayed - DUNKIN DONUTS. Well now you know why.
This morning construction crews broke ground on Salisbury's latest business addition - a new Dunkin Donuts. The facility is to be located in front of Sam's Club.

jobs for Salisbury! hope they pay well, maybe some of those on welfare will sign up!
Prolly not!
Yay! I am trying to stay away from donuts but I sure love their cappuccinos! :-)
No thanks. The last time I took a trip on a plane I had to buy 2 seats.3 seats and you're out.
Yay Salisbury! Another mass American chain food location. We have so much class and character Salisbury. I am so so happy for those great paying jobs and an absolute great cup of joe that is unique to this town.
What is happening with Cracker Barrel...did they decide to pull out?
YAY! I get tired of driving all the way up to Delmar!
Whats Going Next To Staples?
That's what we need! More processed crap! There's a starbucks and wawa close enough...
What happened to the d &d that was supposed to go next to McDonalds by the DMV, sign is still there but nothing for 9 months or so.
10:05. I heard that Cracker Barrel is getting a bunch of crap from the local government on permits, sewer, water fees, parking lot problems, that they are now leaving and looking into going out by Berlin on 50.
10:29 Who sells processed doughnuts?
I guess that will be another place for the firemen to hang out.
One bright spot - at least it can be said that our residents have a new 'Jobless Watering Hole Hangout' - it has to be better than Maryland's One Stop Job Shop.
I say bring it on.
Who the hell are you guys! I have got to hand it to you Joe, SBYnews coverage is impecable.
anon 10:38 - i heard they pulled out over near the DMV because they wanted to have lease part of their building out and the property owner didn't want to allow that.
Whats Going Next To The Green Turtle?
There has been a Dunkin Donuts sign next to Mcdonalds on RT50 for years, must be waiting on permits from the kingdom
Cracker Barrel out of here.
So you people complain when businesses leave Salisbury and then complain some more when they come....? I don't get it.
anonymous 4:36, Look, your elected officials should be out there aggressively going after decent paying manufacturing, (type) of jobs, not Dunkin Donuts jobs.
Use your head for once.
Hey Jimbo what are you doing for K&L microwave. The layoffs have begun and the ship is sinking.
HIGH ALERT, STATIONS 1, 16, AND "TWO"!!!!! New rendezvous point to add to alert team nomenclature! Add "Pro Qua "Disoriented Driver 13" to your call lists. This will mean "Meet @ DD on 13 for donuts.
Keep this off the radar, though...
Newberry,SC has a population around 15,000 but has 15 manufacturing plants.Someone is doing their job.
Maybe the builders don't know to put it 3:25. The sign has been laying on the ground for 6 months.
As I was telling my wife the other day, who really cares what is going by Sam's Club, Green Turtle, the new stores going into the mall or any other retail / fast food style job coming into town. This town needs new skilled labor jobs and not jobs that are going to pay $8.00 an hour.
Any company that pays a respectable wage would almost be crazy to come to Salisbury though due to the red tape they will face between dealing with the city and the state of Maryland.
One positive comment though, Chesapeake Ship Building is still growing as they construct their latest building!
