Says Homeland Security must turn over details on 'SOP 303'
A federal judge has ruled that the U.S. government’s “Internet kill switch,” a plan to deactivate wireless communications networks in a crisis, is not protected by secrecy laws and must be disclosed to the public.
The ruling on SOP 303 – the Department of Homeland Security’s Standard Operating Procedure – comes from U.S. District Court Judge James Boasberg in Washington.
The judge ordered the DHS to turn over SOP 303 to the Electronic Privacy Information Center, which brought the Freedom of Information Act case, within 30 days.
Boasberg ordered his actions stayed until it’s determined whether the government will appeal.

I wonder what the emergency could be, let’s see, perhaps Obamanites waking up out of their mindless stupor and realizing we have an incompetent dictator that is ruining every American life equally?
What braindead Orwellian wanna-be dictator bureaucrat thinks it would be SMART to shut down all communications in an emergency?? Unless, of course, its not an emergency they have in mind. More like a "lockdown", of the kind the "Boston Strong" citizens allowed to happen --- martial law, house-to-house searches at gunpoint, with residents marched out (comply or we shoot you) with hand sin the air, and "shelter in place" (what a phrase for don't go outside or we shoot you for that, too). Keep cheering, you lemmings. Right up to, and even past (!) when they cut your cell phone off, kill your computer, and start marching you away. And THAT is coming a lot sooner than you think....
The only ones that will be affected are the young dumbocrats that voted for this. Yes, if you voted for bammy you voted for this. Us older folk don't need the internet or cellphones. Good luck people.
