An off-duty undercover cop who had claimed he took no active role as fellow bikers pulled a Manhattan dad from his SUV and beat him to a pulp was actually pounding the vehicle with his fists at the height of the bloody road-rage attack, sources told The Post.
The cop, a seven-year veteran, had told investigators he didn’t help the injured man because he rode up to the scene as the beating was nearly over, sources said.
But video footage clearly shows otherwise, disgusted sources said Monday — and Internal Affairs Bureau higher-ups want to nail the officer.

Where are the cops and cop supporters that were defending this guy at now?
This cop was ARRESTED not only for being there, and not reporting it for over 3 days, but also for TAKING PART of the beating.
I can't wait for the excuses and justifications to begin.
And how about cops themselves, one a DRIVING INSTRUCTOR, being caught speeding? One doing over 70mph in a 45mph zone.
FINALLY, some of these cops are being held accountable.
Accountable? In a cops life, "accountable" means being suspended (with pay) while his fellow officers "investigate". He'll claim he was "maintaining his undercover status" while attacking a civilian and HAD to ignore the possible murder of another citizen in order to advance his career, I mean, uh, um, protect his secret identity. If he IS fired, he'll be rehired in a year or so...with back pay and benefits. And what about the OTHER cops who were in that renegade biker gang? They're cool...So, they are cops 9-5, but switch over to the other side after work? Protectin' and servin', baby....
