At Least 12 People Injured In Shooting At Navy Building In Washington

DEVELOPING: A gunman fired multiple shots at a Navy building in Washington, injuring at least 12 people, authorities said Monday.

A D.C. police spokesman confirmed that at least 10 people, including 8 civilians and a D.C. police officer, were injured following reports of shots fired at around 8:20 a.m. at the Naval Sea Systems Command headquarters in southeast Washington.

Evidently 2 shooters. 2 different types of bullets being found in victims.

i do hope things work out as best as possible for the victims. as this is a sad thing.
with that said, i did not even pay attention to it when i heard it on the news this morning. it's so common place now.

1:26 it's really not so common for a mass shooting, just the media hypes it non stop to encourage copy cats. According to the LA Times, mass shootings are down 76% over the last twenty years

Alexis carried three weapons: an AR-15 assault rifle, a shotgun, and a handgun that he took from a police officer at the scene, according to two federal law enforcement officials who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the investigation.
