Scanner just said this storm has been producing 60 to 70 MPH winds and hail. It is expected to hit Salisbury in the next 15 minutes. Be safe everyone!

Do I have time to get to Walmart and stock up on necessities?

Parsonsburg station 6 and Salisbury Station 1 and 2 just got alerted for a house fire. One of Salisbury's brand new Ford Explorer chief's SUV's just went flying down Old Ocean City Road. Why is a new Ford Explorer speeding to Parsonsburg when all they need is a fire engine from Salisbury?

We were hit hard! Our road will be wet until tomorrow. Notify F.E.M.A.

Listening to the scanner, I heard report of dozens of trees down, numerous wires across the road, traffic signals down, etc. I hope the next time those in charge of warning people say nothing. What I keep reading on here is posts from a bunch of uneducated naysayers complaining about something that is important information. If you dont want to hear any news, why read a blog?

Others were not so lucky with this storm. There were at least 3 tornadoes in Maryland. One was in Snow Hill. Someone else said there might have been one near Mardela Springs. This was a fast moving storm and people needed to be warned about it. A 4 yr old boy at the park with his father was not so lucky and neither was a woman at a zoo in Cecil County.

8:18 PM-- Why did these people not take shelter? Everyone knew the rain was coming since yesterday!

Don't know 9:04 maybe you could ask them.... The father and son were on their way to shelter but it was a fast moving storm. I think the lady worked at the zoo. It was a pretty day and usually a storm does not hit so fast. Maybe they were the ones that thought a post like this was not important enough to read and take precautions
