Must Be Nice
Washington, D.C., area federal agencies are open today. But, with forecasters predicting flash floods, non-emergency employees have the option of working from home. The Office of Personnel Management says you can take unscheduled leave or unscheduled telework with your supervisor's approval. Emergency employees should report to work as usual. A flash flood watch is in effect for parts of Maryland, Virginia and the District through 8 p.m.
