Despite this, the LA school district is going to spend nearly a million dollars training kids to promote Obamacare.

The Los Angeles Unified School District will use a state grant to train teens to promote ObamaCare to family members. Covered California, the state’s health insurance exchange, announced grants of $37 million on May 14 to promote the nationally unpopular law.
LAUSD will receive $990,000. The district listed as a primary outcome for its project, “Teens trained to be messengers to family members.”
Covered California spokeswoman Sarah Soto-Taylor said staff have not questioned this goal.
“We have confidence that the model LA Unified brought to the table will be successful in reaching our target population, which includes family members of students,” she said.
LAUSD will also use tax-paid staff to promote ObamaCare through phone calls to students’ homes, in-class presentations, and meetings with employees eligible for ObamaCare’s taxpayer-covered healthcare, the grant award says.

I'm not sure how I feel about this. On the one hand, this seems like a good way to ensure that large numbers of people can be informed about how the AHA will work. OTOH I'm not sure I trust the kinds of messages that our government may give our children. Homeland Forever, Baby.

Next, the kids will be asked to tell who doesn't agree and like Obamacare, an be encouraged to "turn in" those that speak out...wait a minute--sounds a lot like what happened during the Nazi regime! And you forget that what information the kids will be spreading is what they are told--not what is necessarily the truth about Obamacare. All you need to do is remember what Kathleen Sebelius said regarding that little girl who needed the lung transplant: "Some people live and some people die". Death panels are going to be a very real thing, and the fact that a bureaucrat will decide who lives and who dies should horrify and frighten every American.

What, LAUSD will have staff making calls to parents and residents promoting Obamacare, while getting paid by the Taxpayers dollars? Insane. And people of Califotnia are OK with that crap? Well, with having old bags representatives like Nancy "Queen of Deception" Pelosi and Diane "Ban All Guns" Feinstein, now I understand. Soon they will be sending kids home from school with Forms to Join California Communist Party USA.
