BALTIMORE (AP) -- A man who successfully petitioned Maryland's highest court to be removed from the state's sex offender registry is still on the list.
That's according to the lawyer for the unidentified man, who has filed a motion for contempt.
The man identified in court documents as John Doe pleaded guilty in 2006 to sexually abusing a 13-year-old girl in 1984. The Court of Appeals ruled in March that he couldn't be placed on the sex offender registry because it didn't exist when the crime was committed.

Go fiqure. You go and fight them for your rights and win and they still violate your rights and refuse to honor the courts decision. As I have said all along. The Sex Offenders List is all about Political gain for votes and Scare tactics with hype and no REAL proof it works for the amount of dollars spend to run and maintain it. And HEY lets not forget about the little bit of federal grants Maryland gets for following fed guidelines, but fail to tell Md. taxpayers that going along with Fed guidelines costs many times over the amount we get from the feds. This is the reason almost all other states REFUSES to follow federal guidelines to get the small amount of grants for doing so as it will cost the state to do so.

if the truth hurts..go away back to your perfect world that you live in and have never done wrong in your life....I only wrote the truth as I have nothing wrong with Laws, only if we could have the right laws that really do stop crime.
