Fire At Easton Walmart

EASTON -- A fire outside of the Easton Walmart, 8155 Elliott Road, forced an evacuation of the building about 1:30 p.m. Saturday.

According to Assistant Chief of Easton Volunteer Fire Department C.R. Chance, a ''mess'' of cardboard boxes to the left of the front of the building caught on fire, but firefighters didn't know what caused the fire as of press time on Saturday.

''There was a lot of fire when we got here,'' Chance said.

With the amount of security cameras Wal-mart has, the whole event is recorded.. whether wal-mart corporate agrees to turn them over is another story.
