The vote to allow gay youth in Scouting — but not gay adult leaders — was held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Central time during the group’s annual meeting in the Dallas suburb of Grapevine.
After about 1,400 members of the Boy Scouts national council voted by secret ballot, their votes were tallied by an outside balloting firm, Washington, D.C.-based True Ballot, and delivered to Boy Scouts President Wayne Perry, who announced the results to the gathering shortly after 5 p.m. Central time, according Boy Scouts spokesman Deron Smith.

Enough gay friendly scouts infiltrated the group and forced the agenda. A splinter group could simply make the antigay agenda a clear cut portion that is not to be touchhed

While sex with boys isn't prevalent it does or did happen and this was back in the 1970's in a small troop here on the Shore, which I won't disclose because it is still a small town.
I was on a camping trip and some boys , eighth grade age, started experimenting on each other sexually. They later regretted doing I can only assume, because the matter never came up again.
Boys with hormones and the promiscuous attitudes of today, it is difficult to trust openly gay scouts that they're not looking for fresh meat.
