Why Settle For $9/hr Minimum Wage? Elizabeth Warren Pushes For $22
At this point, it is clear: Elizabeth Warren is not holding any punches in her fight to defend the middle class of America. Her rise to the U.S. Senate has turned many people’s heads and dramatically changed the dynamic on Capitol Hill. But on March 14, in the Senate committee meeting titled “Keeping up with a Changing Economy: Indexing the Minimum Wage,” she really raised the stakes:

if you index the minimum wage it comes out to closer to $12/hr. go to the government web site. also this is not about protecting the middle class it is about protecting the unions. pure and simple raise the minimum wage unions demand higher wages.
This is in keeping with the Democrat policy of closing all small businesses through their oppressive tax, fee, regulate and harass campaign. The objective being for Government to strictly control all commerce. Kinda like Communism.

The democrats of old didn't do this but this generation has been so dumbed down to not think and are so weak they become brainwashed.`

This is just further evidence that the Democrat's belief, and a foundation stone of that party, that our republic will be destroyed from within. Their constant push to take freedom, control commerce, delete Constitutional rights and force Americans to 'live as we tell you to' is traitorous and must be dealt with at the ballot box. The Democrat's philosophy is not only anti-American, but most of their beliefs are actually banned by the Constitution. This is precisely why there are so, so many challenges to their laws in court.

$44k to flip burgers, fold clothes, or push a mop. Does that make any sense?
Make 16k/year get 70k / year in Government handouts. Make 44k you only get 40k in Government handouts.
Point is Government handouts are out of control. But point is also that minimum wage is so low that society demands these handouts. Up the wage and society might just lower the benefits.
Point to employers you pay through taxes or wages. We are bankrupting America quickly. Fight the real battle this is not it.
Minimum wage should be set at $.01. Talent and expertise should be considered when going above that amount.
Period.
