SOMERSET SANITARY COMMISSION HAS ITS CLOCK CLEANED IN THE CIRCUIT COURT

This just in from Somerset County.

A retired Maryland appeals court judge has shot down the front foot benefit charges that the Sanitary Commission imposed for the sewer bypass line that was installed in Princess Anne several years ago. Judge Cathell objected to the entire cost of the line being imposed on just a few landowners but not the others who are benefitted by the line.

It looks like the Sanitary District may have to refund or forget the hundreds of thousands that it has imposed, and it may have to increase the rates it charges for service in order to raise the required funds to pay for the bypass project and its attorney’s fees.

Further details to follow.

The only reason crooks continue a life of crime is because they have not been incarcerated for long enough. Somerset County politicians are sterling example. A perpetual wheel of corruption.
