The Jaw-Dropping Reason Congress Drafted DOMA: 'Moral Disapproval of Homosexuality'

When Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan read aloud from the 1996 Report to Congress that accompanied the passage of the Defense of Marriage Act, there were audible gasps of shock in the courtroom, according to several people who attended oral arguments Wednesday.

"I'm going to quote from the House Report here," Kagan had said "... 'Congress decided to reflect and honor of collective moral judgment and to express moral disapproval of homosexuality.' Is that what happened in 1996?"

Well...?
What does "she" NOT understand.
Homosexuality is completely immoral!
It is a very unhealthy proclivity.
It is not natural and has no purpose but selfish sexual gratification.
Homo's have a deep emotional weakness that needs treatment, not support and encouragement.
That alone is enough to outlaw it but now that the LGBT gangs have admittedly begun a child recruitment campaign homo's have entered the fray of pedophilia and child abuse.
This takes place right here in Salisbury in our classrooms and the gay mayor promotes it!

DOMA needs to be the law of the land, just because Joe Biden has a queer daughter is no reason to be forcing this Gay marriage junk down on the rest of the country, it is an Obamanation! As for the surveys saying 53% of Americans support same sex marriage, BullS&%t, try doing their surveys on a Sunday morning out in front of churches instead of doing the surveys in front of colleges, and gay bars! The hang out places for Liberals and Domocrates! The Bible says it is wrong, the Koran says it is wrong, the Torah says it is wrong, if books written thousands of years ago tell the world it is wrong, and America is supposed to be the “Moral Compass” to the world, and it has been the law since the beginning of time, to not be right to “Lay with a man as you would with a woman”, then America has an obligation to show the world that we as a country and good Christian people, that we won’t put up with men being married to men, and women being married to women! It is degusting to think of what they do in bed! In fact there are laws against Sodomy! It is stomach turning to think how two men would make love to each other! This whole thing is even too degusting for our Supreme Court to want to deal with, they are looking for a way out of this pukeifying ordeal! This behavior is against the laws of nature, have you ever seen a pair of Buck deer mating with each other? Or male birds doing it to each other? NO, it is NOT NORMAL!!!!! These people are SICK, and need help, and our prayers for their souls, as they will surely burn in the fires of hell forever! They won’t be alone; there will be the Liberals and Democrates down there with them…maybe they will join in with the weirdo’s!!!!

What is so jawdropping about preserving traditional marriage that has existed thousands of years as between a man and a woman? Gee do you think that gay rights activists are going to take their circus act to Iran or Iraq or Afghanistan and start clamoring for marriage rights there? Oh thats right, gays are usually murdered in those countries for being gay.

So Clinton signed DOMA into law yet his wife is not against it and so are all the other democrats? Seems to be they are just trying to get votes from where ever they can.

Dick Chenny has the gay daughter not Joe Biden.

12:47--you mean Democrat politicians that change their stances on what they believe in when they think it will get the votes? You mean like Obama who was for gay marriage as a Senator then against gay marriage running for POTUS and now he is for it again?????? Just when you think you have seen the height of Hypocrisy count on a Democrat politician to surpass it!

Government needs to get out of the marriage business. It is the Provence of a persons faith. As far as survivorship issues, it could be worked thru contract law.
