Also beware of something called a Sago Palm. They are very popular and are sold locally in Walmart, Lowe's, Home Depot as well as other places. Highly toxic. In FL some Homeowners Associations have banned them from being planted outdoors due to pets eating them and getting sick and/or dying. I've seen a few planted outdoors around here also but not many due to them being more tropical.
