CITY OF SALISBURY/WICOMICO COUNTY GOVERNMENT OFFICES CLOSED
Salisbury, MD – City of Salisbury Mayor Jim Ireton and Wicomico County Executive Rick Pollitt would like to remind citizens that government offices will be closed for Good Friday on Friday, March 29th. Normal business hours will resume on Monday, April 1st.

The state wants to separate church from state yet they still want to take time off work for Christian holidays...bull crap.
That's democrats for you 9:40.
No principles, backbone or morals, lazy and always looking for a handout like this in the form of a paid day off.
It's gone above and beyond being hypocritical and has morphed into a culture of nothing but liars, cheats and thieves.
Notice no Happy Ester on notice on door. What are they taking a day off for?
They should be closed period.

The STATE workers are working today! only city and county workers are off....
And if they WEREN'T closed for Good Friday, you guys would be all pissed off about that!! Geez! Time to get a life, people

hey 2:30. the state has twice the number if paid holidays as the county including American Indian heritage day.
get a life
unless, of course mayor wants to "activate" public works & police if someone is fixing up their property w/o proper permits. yet you can't make 2 calls in 2 yrs. for disturbances & vandalism w/o being "locked out" (includes residential) "It's too expensive!" shouts gymbo!
