(CHEYENNE, Wyo.) — A judge in Casper has sided with the state of Wyoming and ruled against environmentalists who sought to make public the lists of ingredients that go into hydraulic fracturing fluids.
Environmental groups had requested the ingredient lists from the Wyoming Oil and Gas Conservation Commission, arguing that the public needs to know what chemicals companies are putting underground.
Natrona County District Judge Catherine Wilking has ruled that Wyoming’s state oil and gas supervisor was correct to withhold the ingredient lists as protected trade secrets.

Hydrocholoric acid tends to be at the top of the lists of chemicals used in fracking. But corporations are doing it, so tit must be OK, right? They'd never do anything against our best interests, right?
Just so happens, 6:54 and 9:19 that your beloved Andrew Cuomo has made every attempt possible to find some evidence of contamination from fracking--for 4 years as a matter of fact. The New York Times finally admitted that the studies showed NO EVIDENCE OF CONTAMINATION from hydraulic fracking. And speaking of Oil Comopanies, did you know that the Anti Fracking matt Damon fiction was financed by the United Arab Oil Emirates? Personally I would love to be independent of the Middle East for petroleum, since they would love to annhilate us all. So why the secrecy? it is not like people will thrown together the formula and start their own fracking business.
It is stone walling period.
Actually, they do want to prevent competitors from knowing their method of extraction, no different than MacDonalds not revealing theingredient of their secret sauce or KFC not revealing their secret chicken recipe.
