Dr. Benjamin Carson fought back against his critics on Fox News’ “America Live” Tuesday, saying that he’s no “Uncle Tom.”
Dr. Carson — a conservative speaker and neurosurgeon who was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2008 — was referring to a comment made by MSNBC’s Toure Monday, who said Dr. Carson is a token “black friend” to Republicans who embraced him only to assuage their own white “guilt.”
“That’s what you can find on a third grade playground,” Dr. Carson told Fox’s Megyn Kelly. “This is something that we need to move beyond in this country, and let’s have a real discussion about the real facts. If somebody disagrees, let’s talk about why they disagree, let’s talk about the pros and cons, let’s see if we can find some accommodation. But to sit around and act like third graders is nonproductive.”

We need a guy like that on the Shore, He is one of the best persons to represent the republican party.
This man, by all accounts, is an amazingly successful guy. Breakthrough successes in his field of surgery and a great speaker as well. He's interesting, articulate, and speaks from the heart. He even looks good with charm and charisma.
Honesty and integrity would be good in a politician these days.
President Carson? Hell yeah!!!!
This is really no surprise coming from MSNBC! I am a black republican. I commend Dr Carson for standing up for his rights. It seems like the first one to throw the race card is a black liberals. Jesse Jackson Al Sharpton, and so on.Its like they feel threatened by any black person that does not follow the liberal policies that are destroying this great nation now.If anything black liberals should be listening to Dr Ben Carson and his ideas.Instead they want to go around calling him a race trader, uncle Tom and so on.And it not only limited to Blacks name calling him either. It's just that liberals feel a threat by anyone who does not follow their agenda. He took the courage to stand up to Obama at the prayer breakfast. Dr Carson brings a new perspective to the table. This guy is an inspiration to alot of people.Instead of Bashing Dr Carson they should be embracing him and what he stands for!
This reminds me of what the MSNBC did to Michael Steele. And, also, what the Republican Party did to him. Michael Steele was a great guy, a dedicated Republican, and would of been a great leader in the Senate. Shame on the MSNBC & the Republicans. I just hope Dr. Carson won't feel the same pain.
The ones he accuses (rightfully) of being in the third grade must have taken pointers from some of you on here.
They would rather call names, spell check, rant and rave instead of discussing the pros and cons of a subject.
If you like this guy so much, try acting like him.
If I were Ben Carson, My name would stand for itself, and the Republican Party could stand or fall without me!
Ammen, 9:50!
the liberal blacks are so jealous of any black person that has common sense and can speak intelligently.
I imagine "they" have to find something to insult him on. I've been so impressed with Dr Carson for years and even have spoken favorably about him on this site way before I had any idea of his political leanings and he became a household name politically. I never saw him as black but just a man who has made a hugh positive impact not only in health related issues but also education.
Someone like him who is obviously way more intelligent than I am I will listen to when he speaks.
Liberal blacks are mad at him because he is Smart and NOT on Entitlements.
Dr Carson = Intelligent, kind, gentlemen. End of story!
