Now, Democratic lawmakers in Olympia, Wash. last week introduced legislation that would allow county sheriffs to inspect the homes of semi-automatic rifle owners once a year. Seattle Times columnist Danny Westneat describes the move as “Orwellian.”
The proposed bill, Senate Bill 5737, would ban the sale of semi-automatic weapons that use detachable magazines and magazines that contain more than 10 rounds. It would also subject law-abiding gun owners to random searches by a county sheriff.

"Threaded barrels" has to include changeable choke sleeves on shotguns, and my "BOSS" adjustable muzzle brake on my 3 shot rifle, which has, btw, a detachable magazine. That leaves me with a muzzle loading six gun, and a muzzle loading rifle.

I haven't seen this law, but I would think that 'threaded barrels' were referring to such barrels as to affix a silencer on the end of a barrel.
Shotgun chokes were probably just a bonus. I wouldn't put much more extra weight on this restriction than the whole ban itself.
Shotguns are probably the last on their list to take, but, when they start, they will come for them all, threaded barrel or no threaded barrel.
Hey, 648, as long as they have "threaded barrel" in the wording, and their already in your home going through your collection, it's going to be a "threaded barrel" no matter the purpose! Do you actually think that once they are there to confiscate guns, they will leave you with the only ones that never leave a traceable rifling mark on a bullet???? REALLY?

Why not the outrage when they started doing this to people with class 3 arms. This exact thing already is already law, but for a certain few. They are only doing the logical step and furthering the program. Stand quiet while others rights are being violated and yours will soon follow.

I thought we were talking about shotguns? And what does a threaded barrel have to do with bullet markings? And how do shotguns leave rifling grooves on their (lmao) bullets?
