958 clown, you were never going to sign up. If a gay dude scares you I doubt you have what it takes to face bullets flying at you

9:58 please don't sign up (not that you were going to). If you worried about gay soldiers looking at you, then you have bigger issues than just being a bigoted coward.

Neither do either of you two fruit loops. That's why they have a thing called TRAINING. John Wayne is dead suckers.

Actually I served, and we had a gay soldier in our platoon during BCT at Ft. Benning. It was during the DADT days, but we all knew.

I personally didn't have a problem with it, perhaps others did. You just have too many other things to worry about...

He graduated and went to his AIT, that was the end of it.

You clowns are just as sick as homosexuality!

Can you honestly tell me and even the readers that it is normal to put a male organ in another males digestive waste tract?

Running towards bullets being fired at you is courageous? Sounds more like craziness to me.

It takes training to advance towards hostile fire, yes. If you just do it haphazardly, you increase your chances of being...class?...that's right SHOT!

Everybody (or just you) has this romantic idea that they are a man's man and they are going to run into the line of fire, save the world and get the woman. Lol.

Without training, without knowing what to do automatically when a bullet whizzes past your head, your knees would shake and you would feel a warm liquid filling up your boots.

Contrary to what you have seen in hollywood movies and t.v. shows, one doesn't become a professional soldier, or an old soldier, with mere courage alone.

So yes, 10:15 AM, courage requires training. Lots of it.
