"I'm confident that Sen. Hagel will probably have the votes necessary to be confirmed as secretary of defense," Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., said Sunday on NBC's "Meet the Press."
After Senate Republicans voted to sustain a filibuster and block the former Nebraska senator's nomination from advancing toward confirmation, McCain acknowledged that Hagel will likely win confirmation once the chamber returns from its recess.

I'm "Confident" some sleazy politician get some 'back door deal' and change his vote from NO to YES. They may use words like Change of Heart, or After Close Analysis, or the most favorite Its For the Children. McCain seems to know something about it.
McCain is a weak Republican and I am getting sick and tired of him. It's time for him to go packing.
Yeah he's a real fighter that McCain. Look how he stood up to Hillary when the senate tried to find out what her and Obama really did during Benghazi. (He gave a speech instead of grilling her).
the gop needs to stand up...not give in!
