Look the million dollar ladder truck is being used for the first time in months. Hopefully they will get their moneys worth out of it today.

That building has been a fire hazard for years. Years ago it did catch on fire in the ceiling.

That's a lot of fire equipment and ambulances for a small building. Nothing like overkill in Salisbury. I hope Joe gets elected and puts a stop to this. Two ladder trucks and 3 ambulances for a small single story building. WTH! How many chiefs cars were there?

They also need a ladder truck for college dorms and apartments. If you have a problem with the fire department, just use your hose if your house ever catches on fire. See how that works for you.

Where is the fire boat?

They've got so much equipment and now 12 more paid firemen they forgot they even had the fireboat. It's sitting at the marina everyday and no one even checks on it.

Sink it. We could always use another reef. ;)

Same old, tired, assinine, childish, ignorant and self serving trashy comment.

Don't you guys ever have an original thought? And one that could mistaken as semi intelligent?

You are very good at pointing hoses at burning buildings. Okay? Is that pat on the head good enough to satisfy your egos?

You are true champions, hero's of the highest order. Society could not exist without you in it.

I hope that is enough as I am starting to get nauseous.

I thought the same thing about the sing. It looks like it is floating in the air.

I see a lot of ambulances there. The heroes must have rescued a lot of people. How many patients did they transport to the hospital?

Looks like it was thrown in the bushes because it has the metal stakes on it. I'm thinking one of the smart a** fireman through it in the bushes,

A ladder truck isn't only used for multi story structures. It also provides the advantage of a elevated reach above a single story structure that spans a larger square footage. Such structures include the Centre at Salisbury, Lowes, Home Depot, Sams Club, Target, Kohls, Walmart North, Walmart South, Ollies, Food Lion, Kmart, Giant Food, Big Lots, just to name a few.

I don't have a problem with ambulances being there. If a fire fighter gets injured fighting this blaze, I want them to have first responders already on the scene.

They risk their lives for the property of others, is that too much to ask? NO, I am not a fireman.

Was it the auto repair shop? Hope everyone is okay.

My house is insured. Don't bother putting out the fire.

And all those big buildings have fire suppression, and for the most part, no big accelerants. If I can't get out of Ollie's and haul every old lady out by the time you slow pokes get there, then I deserve my fate.
