Baltimore County Police have charged with selling illegal ammunition magazines at a recent gun show.
Police say 64-year-old Richard Summers of Waldorf and 57-year-old John Heilmeier of Virginia are charged with firearms violations. Both were released on their own recognizance.
Detectives working undercover at the Gun and Knife Show at the Timonium Fairgrounds last weekend watched as two customers asked a vendor for an ammunition magazine for a .223 caliber AR-15 rifle. Police say the vendor sold the customers what appeared to be a 30-round magazine. The magazine was then seized by police.

All this BS Law will do is push these clips UNDERGROUND it wont do Squat.
Change the law so that transaction is perfectly legal, as it should be.
I feel so much safer now. Next time they need to put some undercover cops outside for the Jay walkers.
King hussien and his band of criminals are stomping on our second ammendment rights (along with a lot of other rights) in the name of "protecting the children". The commies are pushing the citizenry to the breaking point. You ain't seen nothing yet. The real killing will begin soon.
Maryland has some stupid laws. You can own as many 30rd mags as you want , you just can't by them in this liberal state.
yet had the been in DE, PA or VA, no problemo!
so it begins...
What part of "illegal" don't you understand? Isn't that what everyone says when it comes to illegal immigration. All you commenters are so in favor of enforcing the law, no questions asked, when it comes to illegal immigration, but when it comes to guns you show a stunning lack of respect for the law.
Why the disconnect?
{For the record, I think the gun control law is completely idiotic. But I also think our immigration laws are completely idiotic.)
Although I hate Maryland's laws about fire arms, I am glad these guys got caught. We have the dumbest laws in this state and yes you can go next door and buy thousands of them and bring them home. However the law is the law. Maybe someday maryland will get some real leadership and trust our citizens with firearms
I'll bet not one gun homicide on the streets of Baltimore,DC or Chicago has been with a 223 that had a 30 shot clip.
If laws are based on morality, what is the moral fabric that breaks with 21 bullets in a magazine that's stays intact with 20?
These two guys should have dropped those undercover gestappo idiots right on the spot and made examples out of them.
I bet those two a-hole gmen had AR 15s in their trunk with 30 reound mags in them
If you can't hit your target with the first twenty rounds, I'm pretty sure those extra ten aren't going to help ya.
5:43 that's why you can get a 100rd drum, get er dun.

An unconstitutional law is no law.
What part of "...shall not be infringed." don't you get?
Hm, I guess this one didn't get culled by the spam filter either.
Amen to 5:03. It's just a matter of time.
Well, good. In a way. We have our first test case going to trial, unless the plead.
Fight it boys. An unconstitutional law is not a law.
Let's get a ruling on this from the courts.
I hope the NRA gives them a good layer.
