Easton Police Probe More Shots Fired Reports

EASTON - Police said Monday they continue to investigate a series of shootings that have resulted in additional houses and a vehicle being struck by bullets.

On Saturday, Jan. 8, Easton police said they responded to a report of multiple gunshots fired in the area of Blake Street. During the investigation, witnesses told police a dark colored PT Cruiser left the area after the shooting.


Police said later that day they discovered three homes along the 2- and 100-blocks of Port Street had been struck by bullets. Investigators were able to recover the bullets, they said.


On Saturday, Jan. 12, police responded to another report of gunshots fired in the area of South Lane and Higgins Street, they said. Police said they found a parked car and another home, along the 300-block of South Lane, had been struck. Police recovered bullets at the scene for further investigation, they said.


Since the Dec. 13 shooting that resulted in facial and arm injuries to Jason Rosser, 32, of Easton, police received three additional complaints of gunshots fired.
