40,000 HOMELESS & FREEZING IN NYC - FEMA FAILING MISERABLY

Keep thinking your government will protect you. Keep thinking your government will keep you safe. Keep thinking your government will feed, cloth and keep you warm. Government can’t manage its way out of a wet paper bag. It is bloated, slow, bureaucratic, inefficient, corrupt, unionized, and run by drones and incompetent fools who couldn’t make it in the real world.

NYC Mayor Bloomberg says up to 40,000 may need relocation

NEW YORK
Shivering victims of Superstorm Sandy went to church Sunday to pray for deliverance as cold weather settling in across the New York metropolitan region — and another powerful storm forecast for the middle of the week — added to their misfortunes and deepened the gloom.
With overnight temperatures sinking into the 30s and hundreds of thousands of homes and businesses still without electricity six days after Sandy howled through, people piled on layers of clothes, and New York City officials handed out blankets and urged victims to go to overnight shelters or daytime warming centers.

Honestly, some of the anger people are showing is frightening. Adults that refuse to prepare for extreme situations and then complain that the nanny state government did not show up on their time schedule are dolts!

PREPARE PEOPLE!!!

Isn't it obvious that the government cannot be your savior?

You people are aware there are STILL parts of New Orleans that are messed up, aren't you?

Mmmmm , let the African Americans complain , and relief is on the way.
If you are a cracker , then do it yourself.

I'm aware that the government can not be my savior 11:57 but I expect more from such a well (tax payer) funded agency like FEMA. They spend millions on seminars, conferences, workshops including training for mass disasters and when a real disaster happened they look like a bunch of bunbling idiots. No excuse.
They have a job to do, get paid for it and if they can not do it effectively, efficiently and expediently then we need to get rid of them.

What? Oh, no! Couldn't be. Our fearless leader was there just last week & said things were gonna be good. Help was on the way. Starting IMMEDIATELY, cutting red tape & all that. Couldn't help have walked there by now?

Vote TODAY!

Just take an honest look at the logistics.A storm cannot possibly be bad everywhere.Like always it's really bad in some areas and barely affects others.FEMA is the same way. They can't possibly address every issue everywhere at the same time & it would be foolish to think they could. The scope of this storm may be unequalled.

The authorities can't provide what YOU should have provided for yourself. Everyone I know has a stash of food, water, weapons, and supplies. That being said, there ARE police and government officials going through all the neighborhoods plastering signs on houses telling residents that they CAN'T go back into their houses and patrolling, looking for the criminals who might build a fire to keep warm. And they are ready to arrest you for violations of either edict. Protecting and serving, don't ya know? If you have not been ready for this (or something similar), then call obama. I think he's in Vegas today. He'll be right over with some hot soup and blankets (and an army of Secret Service goons in case you get out of line and need to get shot....). There are some BIG lessons here for the citizens.

As an employer, when conducting interviews, having any "government employee" listed on your resume is a firm reason not to hire you. I am not usually concerned with the branch of government or the position held by the applicant. Not to say that I block them or do not look further into their work history but they will have to convince me that they are not blithering lazy idiots.

Government jobs are for people with no drive at all.
